Toddler confesses homelife secret to his teacher, she rushes to a phone as fast as she can


Teachers are incredible people. Not many of us can survive in a room full of little children. But teachers have to do it every day and some of them even make It look totally easy and even go the extra mile to pay special attention to the kids.

Must than just been there to educate a child, they stand as role models whose examples the children will learn to follow in the long run.

But while some might want to draw between educating a child and taking things personal beyond that, Teachers like Nancy Bleur seem to believe that looking out for a child is all part of the process of teaching the child to read and write.

The 54-year-old is a kindergarten teacher from Iowa. She is popular with her kids as a sweet and caring teacher.

The kind of teacher that you would love to have to as your kid’s teacher.

Nancy loved her job and most importantly she paid attention to each of the kids in her class so much that she was able to notice when one of the kids, Four-year-old Camden was acting a little less than his usual self in the class.

The concerned teacher pulled him aside and lovingly asked him if everything was fine.

The little boy had some shocking news, his 34-year-old dad Darreld Petersen was sick. While the little boy could not give Camden the full details of his father’s ailment.

Nancy could pick up the urgency in the boy’s voice and decided to call Derrald to find out how bad the situation was. As it turned out it was very bad.

Darreld’s kidney was only functioning at 20% and he was on dialysis. From all indications, things were so bad it was already taking its toll on the little boy who was scared that he would lose his dad.

Nancy was sincerely concerned for the boy and his father and knew she had to do something to help. Even though it was well beyond her responsibilities as a teacher, she knew it was the right thing to do.

Nancy made an offer not many people would want to make. one that changed Darreld and his son’s life She offered to donate one of her kidneys to help the dying man.

She asked if she could be a donor and fortunately, she was a perfect match and she filled in the paperwork immediately.

“I was really excited about it. I was ecstatic. I don’t know what I would’ve done for closure if I wasn’t [a match],” Nancy said.

Nancy gesture of kindness stunned Darreld. She was the last person he ever thought would be able to help her. Darreld was grateful to Nancy for helping to save his life.

“It’s just amazing. There are people waiting every day for a kidney, for an organ in general. I wish there were more people like her. She’s giving me a second chance at life,” Darreld told ABC News.

Nancy did what very few people would ever do. Not only was she attentive to the little kids in her class and was able to discover what was wrong, but she was also willing to go out of her way to ensure that the little boy is happy once again and he didn’t have to grow up without a dad. She indeed is a special teacher.
