Almanzo’s Fried Apples N Onions

This recipe is a family favorite in our house. It’s so easy to make and tastes great with ice cream, pancakes or just on its own. I hope your family enjoys it too!

Ingredients:

¼ cup brown sugar

4 apples – peeled, cored, and sliced

¼ cup butter

1 pinch ground cinnamon, or to taste (Optional)

1 onion, cut into matchstick-sized pieces

Instructions:

Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook and stir apples, onion, brown sugar, and cinnamon in the melted butter until onions are translucent and sauce is slightly reduced, 15 to 20 minutes. Cool before serving.
