This recipe is a holiday classic. It’s rich, creamy and perfect for the winter season. I love to make a batch of this eggnog before Thanksgiving and keep it in the fridge to sip on throughout December. This year I made some Amaretto Eggnog as well as regular eggnog! They’re both really delicious but if you prefer something stronger then go with the Amaretto version.

1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger amaretto liqueur
1 cup eggnog
Pour eggnog into a microwave-safe mug. Heat in the microwave until warmed through, 30 seconds to 1 minute. Stir in amaretto liqueur.
