Amaretto Ice Cream

This recipe is perfect for when you want to make a sweet treat, but don’t have time to go grocery shopping. It’s also great if you’re looking for something with less fat and sugar than store-bought ice cream. You can easily whip this up in your blender in under 10 minutes!

5 tablespoons amaretto liqueur (such as Disaronno®)

1 cup half-and-half

2 cups heavy whipping cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

┬ż cup white sugar


Mix heavy cream, half-and-half, and sugar in a large bowl until sugar is dissolved. Add amaretto liqueur and vanilla extract.

Pour milk mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions until ice cream reaches ‘soft-serve’ consistency. Transfer ice cream to a lidded container. Freeze for about 2 hours before serving.
