APPLE CRISP PIZZA

If you’ve had apple crisp pizza before, then I’m sure you can’t get enough of it. I mean, no one can, so you’re not alone. So in all the goodness of my heart, I’m giving you this really simple recipe to prepare an apple crisp pizza at home. Depending on how you love your apple crisp, you might decide to go for the regular apple crisp or the pastry bottom apple crisp. Both are delicious, but the pastry bottom apple crisp has a light and flaky crust which makes it more delicious.
Prep time: 55 minutes

What you need

1 package pastry for a single crust pie
⅔ cup sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 baking apples, peeled, diced

For topping:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup oatmeal
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup caramel topping

The process

Step 1: Unroll pastry into the baking sheet.
Step 2: Add the sugar, flour and cinnamon in a bowl, mix them together and also add the apples and toss. Arrange the apples to cover the pastry in a way that you leave 1-2 inch around the edge.
Step 3: To prepare the topping, mix the flour, brown sugar, oatmeal, cinnamon and butter together. Use a fork to mix them together to form a coarse crumb. Sprinkle them over apples.
Step 4: Bake it at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about 35-40 minutes, or until the apples are soft and the crust is golden brown.
Step 5: Remove from the oven and drizzle with the caramel topping immediately, you can serve warm with ice cream if you want to.
