Applesauce Oatmeal Cookies

Moms are always looking for new ways to get their kids to eat healthy. For some, it is a challenge! One way you can do this while still giving them something delicious is by making applesauce oatmeal cookies. This recipe does not require any eggs or butter and the cookies come out light, fluffy, and flavorful!

Ingredients:

¼ teaspoon baking soda

â…” cup packed brown sugar

â…“ cup butter, softened

1 ¼ cups rolled oats

1 egg

½ cup applesauce

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

In bowl beat butter till creamy. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, and baking soda. Stir until combined. Mix in applesauce and egg. Add flour, a little at a time. Stir in oats.

Drop dough onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Enjoy!
