Auntie Midge is a well-known cook in Hawaii and has been cooking up some of the most delicious Hawaiian food for years. She’s decided to share her recipe for one of her favorite salads with you, so enjoy!
Ingredients: -1 head lettuce (usually Iceberg) -1 can pineapple chunks, drained (reserve juice) -1 carrot, shredded or cut into matchsticks -2 tablespoons mayonnaise (preferably light) – 1 tablespoon sugar or honey (optional) – ½ teaspoon salt – ¼ teaspoon black pepper – 2 tablespoons vinegar (any kind will do; we like apple cider vinegar because it’s not too strong but still gives that tangy kick!)

1 (10.5 ounce) package miniature marshmallows
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained thoroughly
1 (30 ounce) can fruit cocktail, drained thoroughly
1 (24 ounce) container sour cream
1 (8 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained thoroughly
Mix fruit cocktail, pineapple, mandarin oranges, and marshmallows together in a large bowl; add sour cream and stir to coat fruit completely.
Refrigerate 4 hours to overnight.
