Baking Powder Substitute

Baking powder is a common ingredient in baking recipes, but it can be difficult to find if you’re out of it. This substitute recipe will give you the same results that baking powder would provide with just two ingredients!

¼ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon cream of tartar

¼ teaspoon cornstarch

Instructions:

Mix cream of tartar, baking soda, and cornstarch together in a bowl to make 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
