This banana-date shake recipe is a great way to get your kids to eat their fruit.  It’s also a great option for mommy too!  I’m always looking for ways to sneak in some extra fruits and veggies, especially when my toddler isn’t up for eating them plain.  This shake tastes so good that you won’t even notice the added nutrients from the dates or spinach!  Give it a try tonight and let me know what you think in the comments below!
Banana-Date Shake Recipe: 1 frozen banana 2 dates, pitted ¼ cup fresh baby spinach ½ cup milk of choice (I used unsweetened almond) Add ingredients into blender until smooth. Serve immediately. Makes one serving.

Ingredients:

½ tablespoon ground cinnamon, or to taste

1 frozen banana, halved

¾ cup plain soy milk

2 large dates, pitted and chopped

Instructions:

Combine soy milk, banana, dates, and cinnamon in a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve.
