Barbeque Rib Brine

This delicious Barbeque Rib Brine recipe will make your ribs juicy and flavorful. The ingredients are very basic, so it’s easy to mix up a batch before you start cooking on the grill. Get some friends together for an afternoon of grilling with this recipe!

1 cup garlic powder

2 cups brown sugar

2 gallons water

1 cup onion powder

4 ounces pink speed-cure salt

1 cup pork seasoning (such as Fraboni’s® Porketta®)


Put water into a large pot; add brown sugar, pork seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and curing salt. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce heat to low, and cook and stir until the seasonings are completely dissolved, 20 to 30 minutes.

Cool brine completely before adding meat.
