Ingredients
- -1 pound beef flank steak, thinly sliced
- -1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- -1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- -3 tablespoons soy sauce
- -1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- -1 tablespoon honey
- -1 tablespoon vegetable oil, divided
- -1 red bell pepper, cut into bite-sized pieces
- -1 cup broccoli florets
- -3 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cornstarch, baking soda, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and 1 tablespoon of oil until the cornstarch has dissolved. Add the beef and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
2. In a large wok or frying pan, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of oil over high heat. Add the bell pepper and broccoli and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes, until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
3. Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and add the beef to the other side. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until the beef, is browned.
4. Stir everything together and serve immediately.
