I am so excited to share this recipe with you! I used to be really intimidated by cooking breakfast sausage, but after reading the instructions and following these few tips, it is now one of my favorite things to make. What’s even better than a tasty breakfast? A healthy one that your whole family will love! This recipe is perfect for those who are looking for a fuss-free way to get their protein in first thing in the morning. It also tastes great on top of some toast or an english muffin as well as mixed into scrambled eggs. Enjoy!

¼ teaspoon dried marjoram

2 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoons dried sage

2 pounds ground pork

1 tablespoon brown sugar

? teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 pinch ground cloves


In a small, bowl, combine the sage, salt, ground black pepper, marjoram, brown sugar, crushed red pepper and cloves. Mix well.

Place the pork in a large bowl and add the mixed spices to it. Mix well with your hands and form into patties.

Saute the patties in a large skillet over medium high heat for 5 minutes per side, or until internal pork temperature reaches 160 degrees F (73 degrees C).
