Butterfinger Bars are the perfect treat to make for a party or just for yourself. They’re so easy to make and even easier to eat! All you need is: Butterfingers, vanilla wafers, chocolate chips and peanut butter. You can substitute any other type of candy bar if you want something different than Butterfingers. If I have time, I like to melt my own chocolate chips with some oil because it tastes better than store bought but that step is optional depending on how much time you have before your guests arrive or how hungry you are!

4 cups rolled oats
½ cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
¾ cup peanut butter
1 cup margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, stir together the brown sugar, white sugar, melted margarine and oats until well blended. Mix in the chocolate chips. Press the mixture into a 9×9 inch pan.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Spread peanut butter over the top of the bars and let cool until set. Cut into squares and serve.
