Ingredients

  • -Ramen noodles (2 servings)
  • -chicken breasts (1 or 2, depending on size)
  • -oil or butter (1 tbsp)
  • -garlic (3 cloves, minced)
  • -salt (1 tsp)
  • -pepper (1/4 tsp)
  • -ginger (1 knob, peeled and minced)
  • -green onion (1 stalk, finely chopped)
  • -sesame oil (1 tsp)
  • – tamari or soy sauce (2 tbsp)
  • -a Dash of chili oil or sesame seeds(optional)

Instructions

1. In a pot of boiling water, cook the noodles according to the package directions and drain.

 

2. In a preheated pan or pot, heat up your oil/butter and add the garlic, ginger and chicken breast (salt and pepper as you cook). Cook until browned on both sides.

 

3. Add enough water for 1 cup of liquid (chicken stock) to the pot.

 

4. Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, chili oil or sesame seeds to taste. 

 

5. Boil the ingredients until the liquid is reduced by half and then add the green onion before removing from heat. Serve on top of ramen noodles with a dash of chopped green onion for garnish.
