1 pound salmon fillet, cut into 4 equal portions
-1/4 teaspoon paprika
-1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
-1/4 teaspoon onion powder
-1/4 teaspoon black pepper
-1 tablespoon olive oil
-1/2 cup chicken broth
-1/4 cup heavy cream
-1/4 teaspoon dried basil leaves
-1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
-1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
-1/4 teaspoon salt
The steps of preparation are simple. First, preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, in a small bowl, mix together the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper. Season both sides of each piece of salmon with this spice mixture. In a large oven safe skillet heat up the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add in your seasoned salmon fillets and cook for about 2 minutes or until they begin to turn brown. Flip the fillets over and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Cover the skillet with a lid or tin foil and place it in the oven to finish cooking for 10 minutes.
