One of my favorite things to do with grandma is to go grocery shopping with her. She has a very specific list of items that she needs, and I love learning about what each one is for. Today’s recipe was the second in our series on Grandma’s recipes – this time it was noodles! We used egg noodles, butter, onion powder, salt and pepper to make the perfect pasta dish.
The instructions were really easy too – just boil water in a pot then put noodles in it for 3-4 minutes until they are done. Then dump them into a colander so all the hot water goes out before you mix everything together! The next step after mixing everything together is cooking garlic for 1 minute over medium high heat then adding

1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
½ teaspoon baking powder (Optional)
2 tablespoons milk
Combine egg, salt, milk. Add flour. (For thicker noodles add baking powder to flour before mixing.) Separate into two balls.
Roll out dough, and let stand for 20 minutes.
Cut into strips and spread to dry–dust with a little flour. Let dry for approximately 2 hours.
Drop into hot soup–cook for about 10 minutes.
