The following recipes for bread can all be made with kombucha, wheat flower, gluten free and a nice loaf of bread using soaked or sprouted whole wheat flour. Not only you will save a lot of money by making your own bread, but you will also get a product that is much healthier than store-bought products.
BASIC SANDWICH BREAD
What Ingredients You Will Need:
- 1 egg
- 1 1/3 cups water to equal
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoon sea salt
- 4 cups bread flour
- 1 ½ teaspoon instant yeast/bread machine yeast or 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
You should mix all the ingredients using a mixer or bread machine until you get a homogenous mixture. However, if you choose the mix it by hand, mix all ingredients except the flour. Then, add the flour gradually and mix it well with the other ingredients. When the dough is stiff, it is mixed further with hands for about 5 – 10 minutes.
Then, cover the dough and let it stay for 20 minutes. It will rise almost the double in size. Next, you should divide it into the desired number of buns or loaves. Grease a baking pan or cover it with a baking paper and place them. Bake buns for 15 minutes and bread for 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.
