MISSISSIPPI POT ROAST

What you need

4 pound boneless beef roast
8 tablespoons butter
1 package au jus gravy mix
1 package dry ranch dressing mix
Pepperoncini peppers and a little juice
Salt and freshly ground pepper, if desired

Directions

Step 1: Place the roast in a slow cooker, then add the butter, au jus gravy mix, ranch dressing mix and pepperoncini peppers and juice to it. Also add salt and pepper to taste and leave it to cook on low for about 8 hours. Take down when it’s time for dinner and serve.

Tips:
1. You can use chuck, sirloin tip, or rump to prepare it. You can also decide whether to sear it if you want.
2. If you’re on a diet, then you’re in luck with this recipe since its low in carbs. To keep to that dietary plan, it would be better if you served it with some delicious low carb sides like mashed cauliflower, cauliflower rice, or garlic roasted asparagus.
