1 lb. ground beef
1 1⁄4 teaspoons salt
1⁄4 teaspoon of black pepper
1⁄2 cup of chopped onion
1⁄2 cup of chopped bell pepper
1 large egg, slightly beaten
8 ounces canned diced tomatoes with juice
1⁄2 cup quick-cooking oats
1⁄3 cup of ketchup
1 tablespoon of prepared mustard
2 tablespoons of brown sugar

How to prepare

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a medium sized bowl, mix all ingredients together except ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar.
Step 2: Place the mixture into the baking dish and shape it into loaf.
Step 3: Add ketchup, mustard and brown sugar together, mix well until it is well combined. Then spread on the loaf.
Step 4: Leave it to bake for an hour, remove from the pan and serve.
