Ingredients

-1 loaf of Italian bread, cut into 12 slices 

-1/2 cup of mayonnaise 

-1/2 cup of ketchup 

-1 teaspoon of garlic powder 

-1/2 teaspoon of onion powder 

-1/4 teaspoon of black pepper 

-1/2 pound of thinly sliced deli roast beef 

-1/2 pound of thinly sliced provolone cheese 

-1/2 pound of thinly sliced Swiss cheese 


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). 

 

2. Lay out one slice of bread and top with a slice each of roast beef, provolone, and Swiss cheese. Top with another slice of bread.

 

3. Repeat this step for the remaining slices of bread, layering them in a 9×13-inch pan that has been coated with cooking spray or oil on all sides. Place another 9×13-inch pan on top of the sandwiches and press down firmly so that they stick together. 

 

4. Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper together in a small bowl. Spread this mixture on top of the sandwiches. 

 

5. Remove the top pan and baking sheet from the sandwiches. Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbling around the edges. Serve immediately with additional toppings if desired.
