You can always tell when it’s time for a new season because the produce starts to change. Fall is my favorite time of year, and I’ve been craving all sorts of pumpkin recipes lately. This smoothie without oranges recipe is perfect for this transition into fall! It has plenty of vitamin C from spinach and other fruits, but no orange flavor since we’re not using oranges. Enjoy!

1 yellow bell pepper, chopped, or to taste
2 carrots, cut into chunks
1 mango – peeled, seeded, and chopped
1 teaspoon honey, or to taste (Optional)
½ red bell pepper, chopped, or more to taste
1 ounce chilled mineral water, or as needed
1 banana, chopped
1 teaspoon chia seeds, or to taste (Optional)
1 teaspoon lemon juice, or to taste
Blend mango, carrots, banana, yellow bell pepper, red bell pepper, mineral water, lemon juice, honey, or chia seeds in a blender until smooth. Add more water for a thinner consistency.
