I’ve always loved chicken, but I never knew how to cook it well. I would buy expensive cuts of meat and roast them for hours on end with little success. But now that my son is in school all day, I have the time to learn how to cook! One thing he loves are White Stock recipe dinners because they are quick and simple. This blog post will show you how to make this dish along with a few other tips to help you get dinner ready faster!

1 yellow onion

1 veal knuckle

3 pounds chicken

4 quarts water

1 turnip

1 carrots

2 stalks celery

2 teaspoons salt


Cut veal from bone.

Combine water, veal meat, veal bone, chicken, vegetables, and salt in a stock pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 5 hours.

Strain stock, and let cool. Discard vegetables and bones, use veal and chicken as desired.
