- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
- 6 oz sliced ham
- 6 oz shredded cheese cheddar, Swiss, or your choice
- 1 egg for egg wash
- 1 tablespoon mustard optional
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds or poppy seeds optional
Preheat OvenPreheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare Puff PastryRoll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into strips (1 inch wide, 6 inches long).
Layer IngredientsSpread mustard on each strip (optional). Place ham and cheese on one end of each strip.
Roll and AssembleRoll tightly from the filled end. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Egg Wash and ToppingsBrush sticks with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds (optional).
