Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 6 oz sliced ham
  • 6 oz shredded cheese cheddar, Swiss, or your choice
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • 1 tablespoon mustard optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds or poppy seeds optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat OvenPreheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare Puff PastryRoll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into strips (1 inch wide, 6 inches long).
  • Layer IngredientsSpread mustard on each strip (optional). Place ham and cheese on one end of each strip.
  • Roll and AssembleRoll tightly from the filled end. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  • Egg Wash and ToppingsBrush sticks with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds (optional).
  • BakeBake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
  • ServeLet cool slightly before serving warm. Enjoy!
