Ingredients
  

  • ½ white onion diced
  • 2 teaspoon garlic freshly minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes do not drain
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
  • 2 tablespoon pickle relish
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 8 ounces bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces frozen Southern Style hash browns
  • 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese freshly shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, hash browns, and onion until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any fat.
  • Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Transfer to the slow cooker.
  • Add diced tomatoes, mustard, pickle relish, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Pour in beef broth, cover, and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours.
  • Stir in cheddar cheese and heavy cream. Replace lid and cook for 1 additional hour.
  • Stir in bacon just before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!
