10.5-ounce can cream of mushroom soup

28- or 32-ounce bag frozen tater tots

cups
shredded cheddar cheese
divided
Salt and pepper
to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Season with salt and pepper, and drain excess grease.
Stir in cream of mushroom soup and spread the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle 1½ cups of cheese over the beef.
Arrange tater tots in an even layer on top.
Bake uncovered for 35-45 minutes, until tater tots are golden brown.
Remove from oven, sprinkle with remaining cheese, and return to the oven for 3 minutes to melt.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
