Ingredients
  

  • For the Applesauce Layer:
  • 2 cups applesauce
  • 6 ounces cherry or raspberry gelatin
  • 2 cups water
  • Optional: ½ cup red cinnamon candies or 1 cup crushed pineapple
  • Optional Garnish:
  • Fresh cranberries
  • Mint leaves
  • Sliced fruit

Instructions
 

  • Boil 2 cups of water and dissolve gelatin completely.
  • Stir in applesauce (and optional ingredients like red cinnamon candies or crushed pineapple).
  • Pour into a dish or mold and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
  • (Optional) Prepare a second Jello layer by dissolving 6 ounces of gelatin in juice or water. Cool slightly, pour over the first layer, and chill for another 2-3 hours.
  • Garnish with cranberries, mint, or fruit slices before serving.
