Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 4 pork chops 1 inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 4 orange slices
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon corn starch
  • ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 cup hot water
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoon bourbon
  • ¼ cup raisins

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Pork Chops: In a shallow bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge the pork chops in the mixture.
  • Brown Pork Chops: Heat canola oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Add Orange Slices: Place one orange slice on top of each pork chop.
  • Make the Sauce: In a small saucepan, whisk brown sugar, corn starch, and allspice. Slowly stir in hot water. Simmer until thickened. Remove from heat and add orange juice, bourbon, and raisins.
  • Braise Pork Chops: Pour the sauce over the pork chops in the skillet. Cover and simmer on low heat for 1 hour.
  • Serve: Plate the pork chops and drizzle with the sauce. Enjoy!
