Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound walnut halves
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions
 

  • Boil walnuts for 5 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water, and dry.
  • Preheat oven to 300°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  • Whisk egg white and water until frothy. Add walnuts and toss to coat.
  • Sprinkle sugar mixture over walnuts and mix until evenly coated.
  • Spread walnuts on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 40-50 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes.
  • Cool completely before storing.
