- 8 oz angel hair pasta
- 2 large chicken breasts cooked and cubed
- 4 oz pimento drained
- 1 cup onion diced
- 1 cup celery diced
- 1 cup green bell pepper diced
- 2 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz each
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 14 ½ oz chicken broth
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 3 tablespoon butter softened
Cook cubed chicken until browned. Cook pasta according to directions.
In 2 tablespoon butter, sauté onion, celery, and bell pepper until tender.
Add pimentos, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined.
Add chicken and fold in cooked pasta.
Transfer to a 9x13 baking dish.
Combine shredded cheese and Panko crumbs. Sprinkle on top, then dot with butter.
Bake at 425°F for 15-20 minutes until golden. Cool slightly before serving.
