Ingredients
  

  • - 1 lb ground beef
  • - 1 small onion chopped
  • - 1 teaspoon salt
  • - ½ teaspoon pepper
  • - 2 10.25 oz cans cream of chicken soup
  • - 1 cup Colby cheese shredded
  • - 8 oz egg noodles

Instructions
 

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
    2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper. Drain grease.
    3. Add onions to beef and sauté until tender.
    4. Stir in cream of chicken soup, then mix in cooked noodles.
    5. Pour mixture into a greased 2 ½-quart casserole dish. Top with cheese and cover with foil.
    6. Bake for 25 minutes. Stir, then bake uncovered for another 10-15 minutes until bubbly.

Notes

- Use freshly shredded cheese for best results.
- Add vegetables like peas or broccoli for a nutritional boost.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
