Ingredients

  • - 2 lbs chicken thighs boneless skinless
  • - 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • - 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • - ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • - ½ teaspoon dried mustard
  • - 1 cup Masterpiece BBQ sauce

Instructions

  • 1. Place the chicken in a large sealable container. Add avocado oil, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and dried mustard. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated. Refrigerate for at least an hour, or preferably overnight for better flavor infusion.
    2. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
    3. Toss the marinated chicken thighs with ¼ cup of BBQ sauce until they are evenly coated. Transfer the chicken thighs onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving any excess sauce behind.
    4. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and flip the chicken thighs over. Brush each thigh with more BBQ sauce and return them to the oven to bake for an additional 10 minutes.
    5. Increase the oven temperature to broil. Flip the chicken thighs once more and brush them with BBQ sauce again to create a nice glaze. Broil for 5-6 minutes until the edges are crispy and the chicken is fully cooked through.
    6. Serve and enjoy your delicious BBQ baked chicken thighs! You can accompany it with extra BBQ sauce on the side if desired.
