In a large pot, cook the kielbasa over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
Add the onion to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add cabbage, carrots, potatoes, diced tomatoes (with juice), bay leaf, and smoked paprika.
Pour in the broth, stir, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Return the kielbasa to the pot, season with salt and pepper, and heat through.
Remove the bay leaf, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
