For the Base: 1 cup butter ½ cup brown sugar packed 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3 cups rolled oats For the Chocolate Topping: 1 cup semisweet or dark chocolate chips ½ cup peanut butter
Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
Melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in vanilla, then mix in oats. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
Press half the oat mixture into the pan.
