Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups peanut butter creamy or crunchy
  • ½ cup salted butter softened
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 20 ounces chocolate melting wafers

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, beat together peanut butter, butter, and vanilla until combined.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing after each addition.
  • Fold in Rice Krispies cereal. Scoop and roll into balls.
  • Melt chocolate and dip each ball, letting excess drip off.
  • Let the balls set at room temperature or chill in the fridge for 15 minutes.

Notes

How to Store:
Store these dessert balls in an airtight container or a Ziploc bag in the fridge for up to a week. They also freeze well for longer enjoyment!
How to Freeze:
After dipping the peanut butter balls, freeze them on a baking sheet for an hour before transferring to a container or bag. Flash-freezing prevents them from sticking together.
Substitutions:
You can use semi-sweet chocolate chips (with a bit of shortening), almond bark, or candy melts instead of melting wafers.
Chocolate Type:
Milk chocolate adds more sweetness; dark chocolate balances it out.
Peanut Butter:
Avoid all-natural peanut butter as it can affect texture and structure.
