Ingredients
  

  • For the Snickerdoodle Dough:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 sticks 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cooking spray
  • For the Apple Pie Filling :
  • 4 apples peeled and diced
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Dough: Mix dry and wet ingredients separately, combine, and roll dough balls in cinnamon sugar.
  • Bake the Cups: Bake at 350°F, then press indentations into the centers while warm.
  • Make the Filling: Cook apples with sugar, spices, and cornstarch until soft and thickened.
  • Assemble: Fill the cooled snickerdoodle cups with apple pie filling and garnish as desired.
