For the Cookies:

package freeze-dried strawberries

all-purpose flour

2 sticks butter, softened

powdered sugar

teaspoon
pure vanilla extract
For the Glaze:
1
cup
powdered sugar
2
tablespoons
milk
Optional 1 teaspoon strawberry powder
Instructions
Pulverize freeze-dried strawberries into a fine powder using a blender or food processor.
Combine strawberry powder (reserving 1 teaspoon for glaze, if desired) with flour in a medium bowl.
Cream butter and powdered sugar in a stand mixer until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract.
Gradually mix in the strawberry-flour mixture until dough forms.
Chill dough in plastic wrap for 15 minutes.
Roll dough to ¼-inch thickness on a floured surface. Cut shapes and place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
Chill cutouts for another 15 minutes.
Bake at 350°F for 15-17 minutes. Let cool completely.
Prepare glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and reserved strawberry powder.
Drizzle or dip cookies in glaze. Decorate with extra freeze-dried strawberry crumbs if desired.
Let glaze set for 15 minutes before serving.
