Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ cup confectioner's sugar for dusting
  • Optional Add-Ins up to 1 cup total:
  • Chocolate chips
  • Dried cranberries
  • Chopped nuts
  • Optional Flavor Enhancer:
  • 2 teaspoons extract e.g., vanilla, almond, or lemon

Instructions
 

  • Cream butter until light and fluffy (3 minutes). Add sweetened condensed milk and beat for 2 minutes. Add extract, if using, and mix for 1 minute.
  • Gradually mix in flour and baking powder until dough forms. Fold in optional add-ins if desired.
  • Scoop dough into balls and place on parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake at 320°F for 12 minutes. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  • Dust cooled cookies with confectioner’s sugar. Store in an airtight container.
