sirloin steak
cubed

black pepper

vegetable oil

small sweet onion
thinly sliced

cloves
garlic
thinly sliced

unsalted beef stock

1-ounce packet au jus gravy mix

tablespoons
unsalted butter
thinly sliced
Fresh parsley
optional, for garnish
Instructions
Toss cubed steak with salt and pepper.
Sear steak pieces in a skillet over medium-high heat with vegetable oil in batches. Transfer to the slow cooker.
Add onion and garlic to the slow cooker, tossing with the steak.
Pour in beef stock, sprinkle au jus mix, and top with butter slices.
Cover and cook on
high for 3-4 hours
or
low for 6-8 hours
, stirring occasionally.
Serve warm, garnished with parsley if desired.
